Description
The State of Louisiana, through its Office of State Procurement, is seeking qualified vendors to negotiate a contract for the Child Welfare Modernization Project (CWMP) on behalf of the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). The effort will modernize the agency’s child‑welfare information systems, likely encompassing software development, system integration, data migration, cloud hosting, and ongoing support. Vendors must be capable of delivering large‑scale, secure, and compliant IT solutions for a government social‑services environment.
• Scope includes analysis of current DCFS child‑welfare applications, design of a modern architecture, development/customization of software, data conversion, and training.
• Required expertise: custom software programming, system integration, cloud services, cybersecurity, and experience with state‑level social‑service platforms.
• Procurement will be conducted via an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) on the Louisiana eProcurement (Ariba) portal; interested parties must register on the SAP Ariba Network.
• No explicit deadline or project length is stated; the contract will likely span multiple years given the breadth of modernization.
• Primary contact: Andrew Rasco, Office of State Procurement.
