DCR 870 Lifeguard Training and Certification Services & Aquatic Facility Rentals

The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is seeking vendors to provide lifeguard training and certification services, as well as aquatic facility rentals. The contract will be a Master Service Agreement (MSA) with multiple vendors. Vendors can bid on one or both categories: Category 1 for lifeguard training and certification services, and Category 2 for aquatic facility rentals. The contract duration is expected to be 5 years, with an estimated annual value of $100,000. The DCR will compensate vendors on a fixed training course rate for each trained and certified lifeguard, and on an hourly rate or established rate structure for facility rentals. • The RFR includes requirements for bidder qualifications, company experience, and environmental response submission compliance. • Vendors must submit electronic quotes via COMMBUYS and agree to participate in the Commonwealth's Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) program. • The DCR reserves the right to suspend or close the solicitation for new responses at any time. • The contract will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the RFR, including provisions for prompt payment discounts, subcontracting policies, and public records.
