Rodeo Stock Contractor

Colby Community College is seeking a qualified stock contractor to supply live cattle, two pick‑up men, and two bullfighters for its annual college rodeo held September 15‑17, 2023 at the Thomas County Fairgrounds. The contractor will manage all timed cattle events, assist with morning slack events and finals, and must provide appropriate insurance; a performance bond may be required after award. The college will handle hay, grain, and goats, and will provide the venue, announcer, contestant checks, and veterinary services. Bids are sealed, must exclude sales tax, and be submitted by July 12, 2023. • Provide live cattle (rough stock) for timed events and possibly slack events. • Supply two pick‑up men and two bullfighters to handle stock and safety. • Must carry required insurance; bond may be required post‑award. • No responsibility for feed or goats – those are supplied by the college. • Sealed paper bids due July 12, 2023; award decision July 17, 2023.
