Annual Purchase for Oil and Lubricants

Tarrant County is seeking bids for an annual contract to purchase oil and lubricants for vehicles and equipment. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. The awarded vendor will be required to provide products that meet current and updated American Petroleum Institute (API) and International Lubricants Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC) standards. The vendor must also provide pickup of empty drum size containers when delivering new containers, free of charge. • The contract requires the vendor to provide specification sheets for each product with their bid response. • The vendor must provide a list of additional related products or brands and the percentage discount. • The contract has a delivery requirement of within 48 hours for emergency deliveries and within 5 business days for normal deliveries. • The vendor must communicate with the county regarding the status of the order in case of any delays. • The contract is subject to testing to ensure compliance with specifications, and the cost of testing will be paid by the vendor if the material does not meet specifications.
