Pool Management Services

Lee County Government is seeking proposals for a service contract to provide pool management and lifeguard services at two aquatic facilities, O.T. Sloan Pool and Horton Pool, for the summer swim season from May 2027 to September 2027, with the potential option for two additional seasons. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing certified lifeguards, pool managers, and other personnel to operate the pools, as well as performing daily maintenance and cleaning tasks. The vendor will also be responsible for collecting fees and providing financial reports to the County. • The contract will be for one pool season, with an option to renew for two additional pool seasons. • The vendor must meet certain basic qualifications, including providing proof of current certifications and insurance coverage. • The vendor will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising pool staff, including lifeguards, pool managers, and maintenance personnel. • The vendor will be required to provide a detailed plan for recruitment, training, and retention of pool staff. • The vendor will be responsible for ensuring that all pool staff meet the required certifications and training standards.
