Request for Interest

The Greater Upper Valley Solid Waste Management District is seeking qualified and experienced firms to partner with them in expanding their solid waste operations. The initiative focuses on enhancing the District's existing composting and organic waste management capabilities at its Quarry Road facility in North Hartland, Vermont. The District is open to proposals that incorporate other solid waste services, provided they align with the District's Charter and applicable local and regional planning plan. • The proposal should address compliance with the District's Charter and regional/local plans • A 15-year site development plan with maps • Conceptual Plan of the relationship between the District and the proposer • Operations and Management Plan detailing relationship and coordination with existing organizations at the facility • Experience and financial capability to construct, operate, and manage the proposed facility and operations • Estimates of throughput and output of solid waste volumes • Estimates of traffic generation based upon operation's plan • Estimate of startup of operations • Compost facility expansion plan including educational outreach, sales strategy, and marketing
