FUEL TANK INTEGRITY TESTING

The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to perform external inspections of above-ground fuel tanks and potassium sodium tanks at the USCG Base Cape Cod in Bourne, MA. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to complete the inspections. The inspections will include internal inspections and tank wall thickness measurements for three tanks, and the contractor will be required to provide a detailed report of the conditions found, including estimates for repairs. The work will be completed over a four-year period, with specific tanks being inspected each year. • The contractor will be required to inspect six above-ground fuel tanks and two potassium sodium tanks. • The inspections will be performed in accordance with the Steel Tank Institute (STI) SP001 and API 653 standards. • The contractor will be required to provide a detailed report of the conditions found, including estimates for repairs. • The work will be completed over a four-year period, with specific tanks being inspected each year.
