The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information from potential sources for the provision of a Mechanical Ventilator for use in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) environments. The system should be able to provide continuous respiratory support to patients during MRI imaging procedures. The required system is the Hamilton-MR1 Package, which includes various components such as the MR1 Ventilator, clinical training, and accessories. The system must meet specific requirements, including being MR-Conditional to 50 mT, having a portable design, and being able to support a broad patient range. • The system must be compatible with 1.5 T and 3 T scanners • The system must have a turbine-driven design, delivering up to 260 L/min flow • The system must have a battery life of 8-9 hours, with a recharge time of 3-6 hours • The system must have a user-friendly interface, with a touchscreen display showing waveforms, loops, trends, and lung mechanics • The system must have safety features, including alarms for pressures, volumes, disconnections, and apnea
