The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission is seeking providers of driver evaluations, consultations, and driver training for individuals with disabilities. The purpose of this Request for Response is to solicit providers who can offer these services to individuals who require vehicle modifications or adaptive driver education services. The contract will be a unit rate contract with no maximum obligation, and multiple contracts will be awarded. Providers may choose to qualify to provide adaptive driver evaluation services, adaptive driver training services, or both. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing functional assessments and adaptive driver evaluations to determine an individual's need for vehicle modifications • Providing adaptive driver education and training services to enable individuals to safely operate a privately-owned motor vehicle • Maintaining a secure database of referrals and providing consultation services to Commission staff • Complying with the applicable regulations and guidelines of the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission • Participating in the Supplier Diversity Program (SDP) and submitting a SDP Plan Form for POS with the proposal
