RFP804(v2) - WordPress and Website Support (Repost)

The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) seeks a qualified consultant or firm to provide ongoing WordPress development, maintenance, and related digital platform services for its portfolio of regional websites and web‑based tools. The work is on an as‑needed basis, covering custom theme/plugin development, accessibility remediation, performance optimization, hosting coordination, and occasional new site design or redesign. The contract will initially run for one year with the option to renew annually for up to two additional years, for a maximum of three years. ARC will evaluate proposals based on technical expertise, relevant experience, accessibility knowledge, and hourly rates. Proposals must be submitted electronically by the deadline, and questions are due earlier in October. • Scope includes WordPress core, custom themes, plugins, page‑builder tools (Divi, Elementor, Beaver Builder), Gutenberg, and API integrations. • Accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA) is a core requirement. • Support tasks may include troubleshooting, bug fixes, security patching, performance tuning, and hosting/CDN coordination. • Billing is hourly; rates are to be provided in Exhibit B. • ARC may engage multiple vendors and will award the contract by January 2027.
