Montana GEAR UP Attendance Matters

Montana GEAR UP is seeking a qualified organization to lead a three‑year attendance‑improvement effort across six rural GEAR UP school districts. The contractor will conduct comprehensive needs assessments, develop district‑specific strategies, deliver professional development, engage families and community partners, and provide ongoing technical consulting through fall 2026 to spring 2029. The work emphasizes data‑driven solutions, sustainability planning, and compliance with federal education‑grant rules. • Conduct needs assessments and stakeholder focus groups in each of the six districts. • Produce district‑specific attendance‑improvement strategic plans and deliver in‑person/virtual professional‑development training. • Design community‑engagement outreach, provide continuous technical support, and submit quarterly/annual performance reports. • Manage data collection (FERPA‑compliant) and maintain security per MUS data‑security terms. • Coordinate with Montana GEAR UP staff, meet reporting requirements, and adhere to strict insurance and de‑barment certifications.
