RFI.2 - Enterprise Content Management

The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services is issuing an RFI to gather vendor input for a future statewide contract to provide ongoing maintenance and subscription services for existing Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms (OpenText and Laserfiche). Responses will shape the solicitation but do not constitute a contract award. The RFI is posted on August 12 2026 and must be submitted by August 21 2026 5 pm PT. The anticipated contract, once issued, will be up to 36 months in length and will cover software updates, patches, technical support, and SaaS subscription management for state agencies and CUA members. • Scope includes maintenance of existing OpenText and Laserfiche ECM solutions (both perpetual licences and SaaS subscriptions). • Vendor input is sought via a short survey; no additional documents may be submitted. • Estimated contract value indicated at $1 million; prior similar contracts have ranged from $1.2‑$2.5 million annually. • All submissions become public records; confidential information should be avoided.
