Description
The City of Franklin, Tennessee is seeking a qualified laboratory to provide comprehensive wastewater treatment laboratory services for its Water Management Department. The contract covers industrial pretreatment sampling and testing, water reclamation influent/effluent testing, biosolids testing, and river sampling across multiple points. The contractor must perform a wide array of chemical and physical analyses on a defined schedule, collect and transport samples, supply all necessary equipment and containers, and deliver results within ten working days. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with a base term of three years and two optional one‑year extensions (maximum five years). • Scope includes industrial pretreatment, WRF influent/effluent, biosolids, and river water testing. • Frequency ranges from weekly to annual, with over 30 specific parameters (metals, organics, nutrients, PFAS, etc.). • Contractor provides sample collection logistics, equipment, flow meters, and secure online data access. • All results due within 10 working days; reports delivered electronically and by mail. • Contract value is a single all‑inclusive price for a 12‑month period, with unit prices fixed for the contract term. • Insurance, licensing, drug‑free workplace affidavit, and various statutory affidavits required. • Payment net 30 days after invoice.
