Operating and Management Services - Washington Fruit Community Center

The City of Yakima is seeking a qualified organization to provide comprehensive management and operational services for the Washington Fruit Community Center. The selected proposer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the community center facility, including its patio, surrounding greenspace, and parking lot. The center serves seniors, adults, youth, and families through a broad range of recreational, educational, wellness, cultural, and social programs. The successful operator will support the Center's mission to foster inclusive participation by delivering high-quality, safe, and engaging programs that strengthen community connections and enhance the quality of life for residents of all ages. Key responsibilities include: • Regular public operating hours • Recreational, educational, wellness, cultural, and social programming • Senior programs and services • Youth and family programming • Community events, outreach activities, and partnership programming • Facility rental and community-use scheduling • Volunteer engagement opportunities • A safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all participants and visitors The City seeks an operator that can independently manage and sustain facility operations without financial support from the City. The selected operator will be granted the right to occupy and operate the facility and retain revenues generated through approved activities in exchange for fulfilling all operational obligations.
