The Kenai Peninsula Borough is seeking qualified firms to perform vegetation‑management services at the Snug Harbor Slash Disposal Site. The work consists of controlled burning of all burnable woody debris followed by scraping of post‑burn material to re‑grade the pad area and move residual debris east of the existing berm. The contractor must obtain a Large‑Scale Burn Permit, provide all equipment, manage site safety, and restore drainage as required. • Burn all combustible woody debris under a state‑issued large‑scale fire permit. • Scrape and relocate post‑burn material to create a clean disposal surface. • Provide site‑control measures, drainage improvements, and removal of non‑burnable waste. • Supply all labor, equipment, insurance, bonds, and licensing as stipulated. • Complete work within 90 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with a one‑year warranty period.
