Shelby County Board of Education (SCBE) is seeking a qualified vendor to supply a broad range of pre‑packaged, pre‑washed fresh fruit and vegetable snack items for its first‑semester Fresh Fruits & Vegetables Program (FFVP) for the 2024‑2025 school year. The contract is a fixed‑price, “all‑or‑none” IFB covering roughly 30‑35 000 cases of 2‑oz, 80‑count snack packs (plus a few bulk fruit items) to be delivered to more than 100 elementary and charter schools between mid‑August and early December 2024, with specific no‑delivery weeks for fall break and Thanksgiving. Vendors must meet stringent USDA, HACCP, GAP/GMP, and Buy‑American requirements, provide extensive product documentation, and comply with new background‑check and badge procedures for any personnel on school grounds.
