Primary Clarifier #1 Rehabilitation Project

The City of Santa Fe is seeking a qualified contractor to fully rehabilitate Primary Clarifier #1 at the Paseo Real Wastewater Reclamation Facility. The existing WesTech C42 cage drive unit and associated mechanical components have suffered severe corrosion and must be removed and replaced. The scope includes supplying brand‑specific OEM parts, fabricating a new drive unit, replacing cages, rake arms, spiral blades, skimmers, and scum box, performing surface preparation and dual‑coat epoxy applications, reinstalling the existing control panel, handling all logistics, permits, and on‑site construction activities, and delivering as‑built drawings and an O&M manual. Bids are to be submitted electronically by September 30, 2026. The contract may run from 1 to 10 years, with options for annual renewal. • Replace WesTech C42 cage drive (including motor, gearbox, torque control) • Supply and install new cages, rake arms, spiral blades, skimmers, scum box (all brand‑specific) • Perform surface preparation (SSPC‑SP10) and apply two coats of Tnemec epoxy systems • Reuse existing electrical control panel; provide all required hardware, fasteners, and ancillary piping/valves • Manage site logistics, concrete/grout repairs, and all necessary permits (building, environmental) • Provide daily progress reports, three‑week look‑ahead schedules, and final O&M documentation • Warranty minimum one year on labor and materials • Pre‑bid conference (Sept 15) and site visit (Sept 16) are optional but recommended.
