Northwest Treatment Plant (NWTP) Foam Fractionation Process (No. 2026PW0016)

The City of Springfield is seeking a contractor to design, install, and commission a foam fractionation system to remove PFAS contaminants from leachate at the Northwest Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work includes supplying the foam fractionation equipment, a PFAS destruction unit, an equalization tank, and all necessary process interconnections, plumbing, electrical, and communications. The project aims to meet emerging environmental regulations for PFAS and will be performed on an existing wastewater treatment facility. • Install a complete PFAS removal system using foam fractionation technology. • Provide all mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation integration for a fully operational system. • Conduct pre‑bid conference (virtual) and an on‑site visit on August 25, 2026. • Submit bids by September 22, 2026.
