IMHI Warehouse Roof Replacement

The Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking professional design services for the complete tear off and roof replacement of the Warehouse Roof, which is approximately 9,300 SF. The successful proposal must include qualifications, experience, and expertise of the staff assigned to the project, as well as a list of past similar projects completed in the last 5 years. The designer will be responsible for providing design services, including attending a design kick-off meeting, using the State of Iowa's construction management software, and providing minor drawing work to assist the Construction Manager. The designer will also be responsible for construction administration, including reviewing submittals and closeout documentation, and providing bid alternates as determined during the course of design and bid package development. • The roof replacement project includes removing the existing membrane, insulation, flashing, and installing a new vapor barrier, insulation, and membrane system. • The designer must provide a lump sum pricing for the base scope price, inclusive of all reimbursables. • The designer must also provide a breakdown of the fee proposal, including construction documents, bidding or negotiation assistance, and construction phase services.
