The Department of Homeless Services (DHS) seeks qualified vendors to operate borough‑based shelters and overnight facilities for homeless adult families throughout New York City. The contract is open‑ended, with a base term of five years and a possible four‑year renewal, and will be funded on a line‑item reimbursement basis. Proposals must demonstrate site control for the full term, compliance with ADA, fire‑safety, and HVAC requirements, and include detailed budgets, financial statements, and community‑hiring plans where applicable. DHS will evaluate experience, service quality, staffing, security, facilities management, data reporting, and budget management. The award will be made on a continual‑review basis until DHS’s capacity needs are satisfied.
