Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Alaska District is conducting market research to identify Architect-Engineer (A-E) services contractors capable of performing mechanical-electrical design and related projects. The contract will be an indefinite delivery, multiple award task order contract with a shared capacity of $40 million over 5 years. The A-E services will include design and study of electrical power, communication, grounding, lighting, and control systems, as well as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The contractor must have experience in cold regions design and be able to provide designs using building information modeling (BIM) software.
Some key points to consider include:
• The contract type is indefinite delivery, firm fixed price.
• The anticipated average task order range is $150K - $2M.
• The maximum task order limit is $20M.
• The contractor must have experience in BIM modeling and LEED energy consumption modeling.
• The contractor must be able to provide drawings in AutoCAD and use the latest version of M2 cost estimating software.
• The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for a contract award.
