PQ List for HVAC Rehab/Repair/Reno

The City of Pittsburgh is seeking pre-qualified contractors for HVAC rehabilitation, repair, and renovation services. The contract will be for a period of 4 years, and the City reserves the right to inspect the facilities and available equipment to perform work under this contract. The contractor must have been in the mechanical (HVAC) rehabilitation, renovation, and repair business for a minimum of 5 years and must employ workmen qualified to perform the work specified. The City may conduct pre-bid meetings and/or job site visitations, and the contractor must provide all tools, equipment, materials, and services necessary to perform the work. The contractor must also provide a written response evidencing their qualifications within 3 business days of the City's request. • The scope of work includes the supply and installation/maintenance and rehabilitation/repair/renovation of interior and/or exterior elements of work as needed at various facilities wholly or partially owned by the City of Pittsburgh. • The contractor must provide guarantees and warranties for the work, and the City reserves the right to reject any bids that do not meet the requirements. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety. • The City reserves the right to terminate the contract if the contractor fails to perform the work in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.
