PQ List for General Construction Rehab/Repair/Reno Services (CD)

The City of Pittsburgh is seeking pre-qualified contractors for general construction rehabilitation, repair, and renovation services. The contract will be for a period of 48 months, and the City reserves the right to inspect facilities and available equipment to perform work under this contract prior to approval. The scope of work may include supply and installation/maintenance and rehabilitation/repair/renovation of interior and/or exterior elements of work at various facilities wholly or partially owned by the City of Pittsburgh. The City may conduct pre-bid meetings and/or job site visitations, and the successful bidder will be required to provide all tools, equipment, materials, and services necessary to perform the work. • The contract may involve work on fire stations, police stations, parks, recreational neighborhood facilities, City offices, and other miscellaneous buildings and/or properties. • The City requires that bidders demonstrate good faith efforts to obtain the participation of Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBE's) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE's) in work to be performed under City contracts. • The City maintains an annual goal of not less than five (5) percent participation by veteran-owned small business enterprises (VBEs) in all contracts. • The contract may be funded in part by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, and the contractor will be required to comply with all applicable provisions of the laws, regulations, and Executive Orders cited.
