The City of Clermont is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive tire program for its municipal fleet, including purchase of new tires, 24/7 roadside tire repair, tire recapping, and haul‑away/disposal services. The contract will run for an initial 24‑month term with up to five optional one‑year extensions, and the City will award two separate contracts to the lowest responsive and responsible bidders. Vendors must demonstrate capability to service a wide range of equipment—from passenger cars to heavy‑duty construction and turf machinery—maintain a 30‑mile service radius, meet strict DOT/NHTSA specifications, and provide detailed monthly reporting. Key requirements include insurance coverage, drug‑free workplace certification, E‑Verify compliance, and the ability to respond to emergency‑priority calls within 30 minutes. • Supply and install new tires for all City vehicles, trucks, emergency, construction, agricultural and turf equipment. • Provide 24/7 roadside tire repair, change, balancing, and flat‑repair services (30‑min response for emergency vehicles, 2‑hr for others). • Offer tire recapping services where authorized and manage haul‑away/disposal of used or damaged tires. • Deliver tires within 24 hours of order to the City maintenance facility; haul‑away within 24 hours of notification. • Submit monthly inventory, service, and cost reports; maintain warranty administration and warranty claim support. • Maintain required insurance (CGL $1 M per occurrence, Auto $1 M, Workers’ Comp $500 K, etc.) and meet all licensing, E‑Verify, and drug‑free workplace requirements.
