Request for Information: Carshare to support workforce mobility, reduced HH car ownership, and guaranteed ride home

The County of Teton, Wyoming, and the Town of Jackson are seeking information from vendors with experience in shared mobility services, particularly carshare and bikeshare. The goal is to gather information to inform potential future programs, partnerships, and procurement strategies. The County and Town are interested in understanding how carshare and bikeshare programs could support community objectives such as reducing single-occupancy vehicle trips, providing first/last-mile connections to public transportation, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. • The County and Town are looking for vendor-operated systems that may include carshare fleet procurement and management, vehicle maintenance and operations, customer service and membership management, and system performance monitoring and reporting. • The potential carshare pilot program may begin with approximately 5-6 vehicles, with the possibility of expanding the fleet over time as demand develops. • Respondents are encouraged to describe their experience with carshare and bikeshare services, system planning and operations, integrated shared mobility, and marketing and user adoption. • The County and Town are open to a variety of business models, including vendor-operated systems, public-private partnerships, sponsorship models, and systems that may incorporate grant funding or other financial support.
