Virtual Teachers

The Christina School District is seeking qualified, Delaware‑certified teachers to serve as “virtual teachers of record” for in‑person classrooms. Vendors must supply certified general‑education and special‑education teachers who will teach 25‑30 instructional hours per week (37.5 total hours including meetings, PD, and parent‑teacher conferences) and must meet extensive background‑check, insurance, and reporting requirements. The contract is a three‑year base term beginning July 1 2026, with two optional one‑year extensions and a possible three‑month month‑to‑month extension. Pricing is submitted as an all‑inclusive hourly rate for each teacher category, and the District may award the work to multiple vendors. • Provide fully certified K‑12 teachers (General and Special Education) who can operate virtually while fulfilling all duties of a teacher of record. • Teachers must hold a Delaware teaching license (or obtain it within 30 days if out‑of‑state). • Vendors submit hourly, all‑inclusive rates for four categories (Bachelor’s/Master’s, General/Special Education). • Required deliverables include monthly usage reports, quarterly 2nd‑tier subcontractor diversity reports, and compliance with insurance, background‑check, and FOIA provisions. • Contract may be split among multiple vendors; work is allocated on a rotation or first‑come basis.
