Request for Proposals for Swap Advisory Services

The County of Sacramento is seeking proposals from qualified swap advisory firms to provide swap advisory services for the County's outstanding swap agreements. The selected firm will provide services related to swap advising, including development of swap counterparty diversification strategies, rate validation services, and advisory services for potential future variable rate/swap agreements. The contract is expected to be for a four-year term, with an option to extend for an additional year. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing rate validation services for the County's Pension Obligation swaps on a monthly basis • Providing rate validation services for the County's Water Agency swaps on a quarterly basis • Assisting with the development of the County's swap counterparty diversification strategies • Providing advisory services for any ongoing needs related to the County's existing swap agreements • Preparing and delivering "Certificate of Swap Advisor" or "Fairness Opinion" to be relied on by the County • Assisting the County in negotiations or mediation with any current or former swap counterparty
