Elevator Modernization for the Department of Property & Procurement

The Department of Property and Procurement seeks a qualified contractor to fully modernize a single hydraulic passenger elevator at its St. Thomas facility. The modernization must replace or upgrade all major components—including a digital controller, hydraulic power unit, motor starter, door operator, safety devices, interior finishes, and associated wiring—while preserving the existing capacity and speed. The contractor is responsible for engineering drawings, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, coordination with the Authority Having Jurisdiction, and delivery of complete as‑built documentation, warranties, and training. Optional items such as extended warranties, preventive‑maintenance agreements, remote‑monitoring/IoT platforms, interior upgrades, and other enhancements may be priced separately.
