Maintenance on Natural Gas and Propane Systems

The State of Minnesota is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance and operational support for the natural gas distribution system and propane-air backup fuel system at Camp Ripley. The contractor will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and testing of the systems. The contract is anticipated to be for one year, with the option to extend for up to four additional years. The estimated total dollar value of the contract for one year is $35,000 to $45,000. • The contractor must have experience with heat fusion bonding of plastic gas distribution piping and be compliant with Minnesota Office of Pipeline Safety requirements. • The contractor must provide a written response, including qualifications and experience, cost detail, and sample transaction documents. • The State reserves the right to reject any and all responses, waive or modify any informalities, and negotiate with the highest scoring responder. • The evaluation process will include a review of responses for responsiveness and pass/fail requirements, followed by an evaluation of the responses based on factors such as acceptance of State's terms and conditions, qualifications and experience, and cost detail.
