Request for Information - PR469524 - High Voltage Cabinet

The UT-Battelle, LLC is seeking a request for information for the delivery of a High Voltage Cabinet in support of a Department of Energy (DOE) funded project. The scope of work includes procurement of commercially available components, fabrication, assembly, inspections, testing, and delivery. The cabinet will be delivered to Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and will consist of two independent cabinets integrated into a single enclosure. The successful bidder will be required to demonstrate experience in fabrication, mechanical installation, and quality assurance. Some key points to consider include: • The cabinet will have a high voltage platform with 50 kVDC or greater isolation transformers • The cabinet will require mechanical installation of air cooled chillers, compressed hazard gas handling systems, ventilation systems, pneumatics, hydronics, and exhaust systems • The cabinet will require fabrication of welded stainless steel structural electrical panels, support frames, and enclosures • The cabinet will require UL508A certification and experience with NRTL-listed systems • The cabinet will require experience handling Export Controlled Information as defined by US-DOE and US-Department of Commerce
