Automotive Fluids and Lubricants

The City of Irving’s Fleet Services Division is seeking qualified contractors to supply a full range of automotive fluids and lubricants on an as‑needed basis for its municipal vehicle fleet. The contract will be awarded on a Best‑Value basis and will cover items such as universal 50/50 coolant, bulk tank refills (500‑gallon tanks), pre‑filled tote deliveries, and other standard automotive lubricants. Suppliers must meet or exceed the specifications outlined in the solicitation and will be required to submit electronic bids through the IonWave system. The solicitation has been extended to September 17, 2026 due to technical issues. • Supplies include coolant, engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, gear oil, and other fleet‑required lubricants. • Delivery can be bulk (500‑gal tanks) or pre‑filled totes; bulk pricing is not required for tote refills. • All products must meet or exceed the performance specifications provided. • Bids are submitted electronically; a public bid opening is scheduled for September 15, 2026. • Questions must be submitted by September 4, 2026; responses posted online.
