MK48 Heavyweight Torpedo Sources and Sensors

The Department of the Navy, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, is issuing a solicitation for the procurement of MK48 Heavyweight Torpedo Sources and Sensors. The solicitation is being issued on a sole-source basis to SyQwest LLC. The contract requires the production, testing, and delivery of MK48 Heavyweight Torpedo Source and Sensor Kits, as well as engineering and technical services. The contract has a firm-fixed-price (FFP) and cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) pricing arrangement. The contractor must implement and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) and utilize an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control program. The contractor must also provide engineering and technical services, including production issue resolution, obsolescence management, and design improvements.
