Description:
The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is seeking proposals for the Combat Identification Automated Target Recognition Technology (CATCH) program. The program aims to develop and transition cutting-edge Combat Identification (CID) and fusion capabilities for single and multi-ship scenarios, encompassing air, ground, and surface targets. The scope of work includes sensor exploitation, exploitation and fusion of multiple sensor modalities, and operationalization of essential CID enabling infrastructure. The program will also investigate innovative testing and demonstration approaches to increase CID relevance in a JADC2 environment. • Sensor exploitation from multiple warfighting domains with focus on air, ground, and surface targets • Exploitation and fusion of multiple sensor modalities, including active and passive modes, from single and multiple platforms • OMS technologies and third-party software and/or mode exploration The AFRL is looking for proposals that demonstrate a clear understanding of the technical areas of interest and the ability to advance technology and meet mission and agency needs. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical merit, cost/price, and the potential to transition research and development deliverables to future Government needs.
