Request for Bids - Marine Equipment

The Little Rock Port Authority is requesting bids for the purchase of marine equipment, including eight 40’ x 10’ x 5’ sectional barges and three remote barge lid lifters. The barges should be capable of being tied together to make a floating dock or for use as a deck barge to accommodate a materials handler. The lifters should be capable of remote operation by materials handler or crane. The authority requires the inclusion of cost for any required assembly plus freight. The following are key specifications for the barges: * 1 barge weight approx. 24k pounds * Allowable unit loading of 990 lb PSF * Single point load capacity of 4930 lbs PSF * Dual rated A36 steel The successful bidder will be required to provide the equipment that meets these specifications.
