Description
The City of Alhambra is seeking a qualified roofing contractor (C‑39 license) to replace the roof on Fire Station 73 located at 2200 W. Main St, Alhambra, CA 91801. The work includes removal of the existing roof system, disposal of debris, installation of new roofing materials in accordance with city specifications, and all associated labor, equipment, permits, and insurance. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, with a 5 % retention held from progress payments and liquidated damages of $500 per day for late completion. Bids must be submitted sealed with a bid bond of at least 10 % of the bid amount. The project must be completed within 60 calendar days after commencement, with construction to start within 30 working days of award.
