Description
The County of Delaware, PA is seeking a qualified contractor to install a network of ten pre‑purchased flood/stream gauges across the county. The contractor must work with County staff to confirm optimal placement sites, perform the physical installation of each gauge, and ensure the equipment is operational. No engineering design, surveying, or software development is required; the County will handle data‑management and software. This opportunity is suited for firms with experience in field installation of hydrologic instrumentation and related civil construction tasks.
• Install 10 flood/stream gauges that the County has already purchased.
• Determine optimal installation locations in coordination with County staff (no H&H engineering required).
• Perform all site preparation, mounting, and commissioning activities to ensure gauges are functional.
• No responsibility for software, data‑management, or AI components; the County will use its existing AWARE platform.
• Submissions are to be made electronically via PennBid by August 31 2026, 11:00 a.m.
