Description

The Department of Labor’s Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs is seeking vendors to provide benchmark-driven fee data for medical coding systems (CPT, HCPCS, CDT, etc.). The data will be used to establish market‑based reimbursement rates and improve claimant access to care. Vendors must submit a quotation by the revised deadline and will be responsible for delivering the data set for a one‑year performance period (09/14/2026 – 09/13/2027). The solicitation includes no set‑aside status and follows standard RFQ procedures. • Provide comprehensive benchmark pricing (charge and allowed amounts) for CPT, HCPCS, CDT, and any other applicable coding systems. • Deliver data in the format(s) specified in the attachment(s). • Quote price for a 12‑month period of service. • No mandatory pre‑bid meeting or site visit. • Submission deadline: 09/08/2026, 5:00 PM ET. • Period of performance: 09/14/2026 – 09/13/2027.

Budget estimate

$150,000 – $500,000

The solicitation does not disclose a budget. Based on typical federal data‑provision contracts for nationwide medical‑coding benchmarks, a one‑year effort involving data collection, cleaning, and delivery could range from a low‑six‑figure amount (≈ $150,000) for a minimal data set to a high‑six‑figure amount (≈ $500,000) for a comprehensive, regularly updated database with analytic support. Factors influencing the final price include the breadth of coding systems covered, frequency of data updates, and any required custom reporting tools.
