The State of Illinois is seeking a qualified Medical Review Officer (MRO) to provide drug‑testing review services for the Department of Human Services. The vendor must review laboratory‑confirmed drug‑test results, conduct interviews when required, and issue determinations in compliance with DOT regulations. No subcontractors are allowed; the work is to be performed remotely. • Review and verify positive, adulterated, substituted, and invalid drug‑test results received via the Quest database. • Perform a minimum of 5 % review of negative results and handle all corrective‑action cases personally. • Provide approximately 625 reviews per year for pre‑employment testing and 120 reviews per year for DOT driver testing over a five‑year period.
