Pre-Engagement/Coaching and College Navigation

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is seeking qualified Providers to deliver Pre-Engagement, Coaching, and College Navigation Services to DDS-eligible adults with Autism. The goal of these services is to promote stability, independence, and real involvement in community life and the world of work by identifying and working on the barriers the individual is facing. Providers may choose to qualify for any or all three services. The contract is expected to last for 7 years, with an estimated total value of $30 million. • Pre-Engagement Services: assist individuals with severe social isolation or service resistance due to mental health or sensory challenges. • Coaching Services: individualized one-to-one service between a DDS-eligible individual and a qualified professional coach. • College Navigation Services: address the service gap for individuals with autism attending college, providing support with executive functioning skills, social skills, and anxiety. • The services will be delivered in various locations, including the individual's home, community, or college setting. • Providers must meet the scoring thresholds set forth in Section 6 to be awarded a Master Agreement contract. • The contract requires compliance with various laws and regulations, including those related to privacy, security, and supplier diversity.
