BH1626-33 Operation & Maintenance of Existing WW Facilities, ITO

The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Airports Division, is seeking a contractor to operate and maintain one packaged wastewater treatment plant, packaged lift station, and the aircraft sewage reduction station, located at the Hilo International Airport. The contractor shall pay for all material costs for lab materials and relevant equipment. The scope of work includes daily operation and maintenance tasks, emergency callouts, and maintenance of equipment. The contractor must obtain and maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals. • The contractor shall supply all tools required to perform daily and general operation & maintenance tasks. • The contractor shall clean and wash down the facility as required. • Sludge removal and chemical cost reimbursement will be paid for under an allowance. • Any major repairs beyond the baseline O&M scope of work shall be approved in writing prior to starting the extra work.
