COMPUTER ROOM AIR CONDITIONER (CRAC) REPLACEMENT at GRAND FORKS AFB, ND

The US Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors for the replacement of a Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) unit at Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND. The requirement includes removing and disposing of the current CRAC unit, procuring and installing a dual CRAC unit system, and providing maintenance services for 4 years. The contractor will be responsible for safely decommissioning, disconnecting, and disposing of the existing legacy CRAC unit, associated pumps, and the existing dry cooler. The contractor will also provide and install new dry coolers, pumps, and piping for the new CRAC units. The system must be capable of maintaining a temperature of 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit and a relative humidity of 40% to 50%. The contractor will also provide training to 319 AMXS personnel on preventative maintenance, start/stop, and failover procedures. Some key points to consider are: * The contractor must be able to provide a dual CRAC unit system with multi-stage cooling capabilities. * The system must be capable of independent function and automatic failover. * The contractor must provide and install new dry coolers, pumps, and piping for the new CRAC units. * The contractor must provide training to 319 AMXS personnel on preventative maintenance, start/stop, and failover procedures. * The contractor must provide 24/7 emergency repair services for 4 years post acceptance.
