Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified vendor to convert two 2026 Freightliner 114SD chassis into complete, front‑mounted dump trucks equipped with a low‑profile dump‑bed, slip‑in sanding capability, and full snow‑plow functionality. The work includes supplying and installing a 10‑ft Beau Roc dump body, hydraulic systems, manual tarp, buck plate, plow mounting hardware, lighting, on‑board scale, and related accessories, while meeting all OEM and regulatory standards. The County will provide the chassis and will transport them to the vendor’s shop (within 100 mi), after which the finished trucks are returned to the County for use.
• Provide two fully‑upfitted dump trucks (engine, transmission, dump body, hydraulic & plow systems, lighting, scales, accessories).
• Must use new, not remanufactured, components and comply with California vehicle and safety regulations.
• Vendor must submit a firm price per upfit (excluding taxes), indicate prompt‑payment discount (≥ 2 % within 20 days) and delivery lead‑time ARO.
• Local vendor preference: 5 % credit for El Dorado County businesses, requiring an affidavit.
• Submission deadline: 3 PM PDT, 9 Nov 2026 (electronic or hard‑copy).
