LANDFILL LEACHATE HAULING SERVICES

The Chittenden Solid Waste District is soliciting bids for the pumping and transportation of landfill leachate from CSWD’s Closed Landfill located on Redmond Road in Williston, Vermont. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment and labor necessary for the proper pumping and hauling of leachate. The contract will be for a term of three years, from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028. • The contractor will be required to pump and transport leachate from the landfill to a designated disposal facility. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that their truck tank is clean and that any residue will not adversely affect the District’s leachate composition or the disposal facility. • The contractor will be required to indemnify the District of any liability associated with the mismanagement of waste managed by the contractor from any of the District facilities. • The contractor will be required to provide a current, valid Certificate of Insurance indicating adherence to minimum insurance limits as set forth in the District’s Contract Terms and Agreements.
