Insurance Coverages for Sanford Airport Authority including Property, Liability, and Workers’ Compensation

The Sanford Airport Authority is seeking a comprehensive insurance program to support its ongoing operations as a public-use commercial service airport. The selected firm will provide coverage for a range of exposures, including property, crime, public officials errors and omissions liability, law enforcement liability, automobile liability and physical damage, cyber liability, and workers’ compensation and employers’ liability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide financially sound coverage, industry expertise, and responsive service tailored to the unique operational and regulatory environment of an airport authority. Key services include evaluation and underwriting of the Authority’s risk exposures, provision of coverage limits and deductible options, claims handling and support services, and ongoing account management and customer service support. The contract is expected to be awarded on August 4, 2026, with an effective date of October 1, 2026. • The insurance program will cover various lines of coverage, including property, liability, and workers' compensation • The selected firm will be expected to provide financially sound coverage and responsive service • The contract will be awarded based on a criteria-based ranking methodology, considering factors such as premium cost, coverage, financial stability, experience, and references • The Authority reserves the right to request additional information and clarification of any information submitted • The contract is expected to be for a period of one year, with the possibility of renewal
