The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is seeking bids for linen rental services, including pick up and delivery, laundry processing, and bed pack preparation for scheduled use. The contract is expected to start on July 1, 2025, and will run for five years. The university reserves the right to negotiate with the contracted vendor to establish additional discounts and/or lower prices for products. The bid must include pricing using the Attachment A Itemized Bid List, and the vendor must furnish details of the laundry process, including detergents and disinfectants used, upon request. • The contract will be awarded based on the lowest net line-item price and/or the lowest net lot total. • The university encourages the use of equipment that meets the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Energy Star requirements. • The contractor must honor the manufacturer's standard warranty on items and/or parts purchased under this contract. • The contractor must provide a list of all NRTL certifications their proposed product has achieved in their bid/proposal response. • The university reserves the right to purchase all similar items and services at similar pricing as provided in this bid.
