UConn 2000 Audit Services

The University of Connecticut is seeking a qualified Certified Public Accounting firm to provide independent audit and compliance services for the UConn 2000 Infrastructure Program in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes §10a‑109z. The work includes annual audits of capital‑infrastructure projects, review of invoices, cost allocations, and contract compliance, and delivery of an Agreed‑Upon Procedures (AUP) report for FY 26. The contract is a fixed‑fee, three‑year base term with up to two one‑year extensions, and all costs must be covered in the annual fee. The solicitation is open to firms with CPA credentials, with a preference for those experienced in public‑sector or higher‑education audits. • Perform annual AUP audit of UConn 2000 projects, testing expenditures, contracts, and change‑orders. • Deliver a comprehensive audit report (no management letter) to the Board of Trustees, Joint Audit & Compliance Committee, and the Connecticut General Assembly. • Provide regular status updates and be available for optional presentations in August 2026. • Fixed‑fee pricing required; additional services (expanded procedures, special reviews) to be priced separately. • Contract term: 3 years, renewable up to a total of 5 years; no non‑audit services may be performed for the university during the contract period.
