Description
The USGS OAG Denver Acquisition Branch is seeking a contractor to provide carbon dating services. The contractor will be required to perform C-14 by Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) on various types of samples, including aqueous, rock carbonate, and organic carbon in solid samples. The period of performance is from August 29, 2025, to August 28, 2026, with an option for a one-year extension. The contractor will be required to provide prep services for unusual samples as needed.
• The contractor will be required to perform C-14 by AMS on 500 aqueous samples, 5 rock carbonate samples, and 5 organic carbon in solid samples.
• The contractor will be required to provide prep services for 20 unusual samples.
• The contract will be a firm-fixed price contract.
• The anticipated award type is firm-fixed price.
