Architectural/Engineering Services for the Design/Construction of Airport Hangar Buildings

Dane County is seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms to provide Architectural/Engineering Services for the Design/Construction of Airport Hangar Buildings at Dane County Regional Airport (MSN). The selected firm will provide professional airport architectural/engineering services for the design/construction of hangar buildings, including site preparation and taxilane improvements. The project is anticipated to be funded through the FAA’s Airport Improvement Program (AIP) or Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). Key aspects of the project include: • Design/Construction of Hangar Buildings • Site development may be required based on size of building and location • Taxilane widening may be required based on size of aircraft and building location • Environmental (NEPA) documentation and Archeological/Architectural History Evaluation for Section 106 Process • Geotechnical Investigation • Project Delivery Methods: Design-Bid-Build or Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR)
