The City of Boulder City is seeking a qualified airport planning consulting firm to provide a full suite of planning, engineering, and grant‑administration services for current and future airport development projects, many of which will be funded through FAA Airport Improvement Program grants. The work will span preliminary scoping, detailed design, environmental documentation, financial analysis, and coordination with federal, state, and local agencies. The firm will be responsible for preparing Capital Improvement Programs, AIP grant applications, aeronautical surveys, obstacle removal studies, master‑plan updates, noise and demand analyses, landside planning, and public outreach. The contract will be awarded to the top‑ranked firm after an evaluation of qualifications, experience, and capability, and fees will be negotiated after selection.
• Provide comprehensive airport planning services (ACIP, AIP applications, master‑plan updates, etc.)
• Conduct aeronautical and landside surveys, environmental (NEPA) documentation, and noise studies
• Perform financial planning, grant administration, and DBE compliance for FAA‑funded projects
• Offer strategic, business, and commercial development planning for the airport
• Coordinate with FAA, state, and local stakeholders and lead public‑information/engagement activities
• Deliver final reports, data sets, and cost estimates; support project close‑out activities
