Management of Seasonal Ice-Skating Rink and Concession Services

Camden County is seeking bids for the management of a seasonal ice-skating rink and concession services at Cooper River Park. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing all marketing, operational management, and concession services, including labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and supplies necessary to furnish, maintain, and manage the ice-skating rink. The contract term is for one year, with options for two additional years. The bidder must provide a base bid for the first year, as well as prices for additional weeks and special events. The county reserves the right to conduct special events that require on-site manager services and ice resurfacing. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: * Providing on-site management and maintenance of the ice-skating rink * Providing concession services, including food and beverages * Ensuring the safety and security of the ice-skating rink and surrounding areas * Coordinating with the county prior to the opening of the skating rink to the public * Providing a surround sound system and holiday theme music for the duration of the operating season * Providing pole-mounted lighting to illuminate the rink and lighting for the skate rental area and concession vendor operations. The county will provide the ice-skating rink, power for refrigeration, and a continuous water supply.
